just trying out the macro feature on my camera , shooting from the top of the tank. I guess they arent so macro, but if you zoom a bit on them they still look good. they are all 1024x768 to cause low res pics suck!

bonsai is probably not a bonsai unless you bought it under that name but I would guess thats a a. valadia.

1st one looks pretty cool but do you have any shots with the white balance adjusted?

Here is 2 more with diff white balances.. I am running new K1 14k 250w MH right now, K1 is some new thing made by JBJ i guess, they started off really blue but are getting a little more white as they go, i think they look like a nice 14k compared to the halimtons.

Purple: ya that is an encrusting monti, thing grows really fast and polyps are always fully extended.

wl: here are some more pics, and when I bought it , it was really brown and dying and i got it for like 10 doillars, it has been a year since then and its looking more like a bonsai but you may be right, do you know the diffrence between the two?
