The tank has been running for about 7 months. Most of the livestock was transfered from a 180.

Love it! It so nice to see a large softie tank. How big is your Hippo Tang? How big is the eel? Which fish eat the clams?

The hippo is about 8", I have 2 eels The white eye you see in the pic he is about 10" and I have a zebra that is about 13". I put fresh clams in the tank and all the fish eat them.

Nice, I dont think I have seen an eel is reef tank before.

Do they try and bite you when you clean the tank?

Is that the skimmer on the right of the tank? How do you keeo the noise down?

There is no noise from the skimmer. The pump is mounted in the stand and plumbed thru the cabinet on the right side. From the readings I have done the only reason an eel with hamper a reef tank is with certain inverts. I personally have had no problems.
