Some sort of LPS parasite?

Hoping someone knows what these are!

Over the past few weeks I have watched some of my blastos start to die. Out of nowhere today I decided to dip a frag that I had that wasnt looking so hot. While it was in the dip I saw something wiggling around in the part of the skeleton where the tissue was missing. I picked it off and put it to the side, after another minute in the dip I saw another thing fall off the frag. I took the things out to try and get a good picture of them and this is what I got.

Metal spike in the picture is the end of a thumb tack, to show you how small these things are.

In the pictures the creatures are sitting in a small puddle of water on a plain white envelope. In the last 2 pictures you can see some sort of tentacles coming out of them. I had no idea why my blastos were starting to go downhill but apparently these things were eating at them as I found over half a dozen of these over several frags.

Anyone have any Idea what these things are??

I'd send the pics to Dr Ron Shimek over @ Marine Depot's forums. He has an invert forum there, you will have better success there than from us hobby-ests I think. Please let us know what you find out.

I am leaning towards some kind of crustacean myself, ostracod???
Not sure, but yes go ask Dr. Simek about the things.

Sincerely,
Matthew
