Just switched all my lighting to VHO. I have a PC ballast thats a few years old. Will run 2 96watt power compacts. Has the cords and rubber boots for the bulbs but is not mounted to anything- asking $70.
For the above mentioned PC ballast I have a black plastic hood thats 48 inches long that currently is hooked up to another PC ballast that stopped working a few months back. If your ambitous enough to remove the broken PC setup and install the one above I'll let the plastic hood go for $40. The broken Ballast might just be a wiring problem, one bulb lights and the other flickers. I never looked into it, just replaced it.
When I move on March 12th I will also have a 50gal breeder and iron stand, and a corallife PC hood that runs 2 96watt pc's ( the slim version)- it will need new bulbs but is in great condition. Not even a year old. The breeder is good if anyone is looking for a smaller prop tank. It's 3' x 18''. 17 inches high. If someone wants the whole set up I'll throw in some HOB filters I currently have running with it. Whole set up $200. If I have to part out I will, but won't be available till the 12-15th of March.
Here is a pic of the breeder when I set it up last year. The oversized plastic hood is the 48inch plastic mentioned above. When it started giving me problems I switched to the corallife set up- I will try to get some pics-
