What a treat!!

Thanks for showing us around yesterday! Had quiet a frag tour! Think you guys out that way got something real special going on! I'm sure you haven't seen the last of us!!

P.S. Post a picture of the frag tank and really blow some minds!!;)

wow guys, thanks again for all the great feedback. you all are more than welcome to stop by and check things out in person if you like. I don't think the pictures really do justice..

ktar, for the photos I use a canon 20d with a couple different lens. still learning how to use the camera.

brent takes great photo's,but i agree pics don't show the depth and uniqueness of this tank. one of the coolest tanks i've seen in person.

thank you all for the kind words, your more than welcome to stop by, send me a PM for directions.

I also have lots of very nice frags left over from the recent frag swap for cheap!

Looks good, what lighting are you using?

39g tank: one 150w HQI Phoenix with 2 supplement 24" T5s

150g: 3 250w HQI Phoenix with 2 160w VHOs

I've tried several different bulbs and found the Phoenix to produce the highest PAR for blue tinted bulbs. They also held their spectrum longer then most.

Looks like you know what your doing. Very nice. Why dont you have any sand on the bottom?

sand can be a nuisance and detritus/nitrate trap. I do like the look of sand in displays though. At the time my original tank sprung a leak so I just tossed everything in to the new replacement tank (seen in photos), just didn't bother with the sand. You'll find a lot of SPS tanks that have Bare Bottoms, which is what they call it.
