I just read through the sticky at the top of our forum about the reefer of the month....

This guy is doing some really cool stuff to get kids involved in our hobby, giving them a alternative way to learn,and also teaching them responsibility, etc.

He is looking to buy a chiller so the tank in his class room stays cool over the summer.

I hardly ever donate to be honest, but this kind of thing is really great and will probably change some kids lives. He's been pouring his money into this but it sounds like its gotten a little excessive for him on his salary.

At the very least its a good 5 minute read and if you have a few $ laying around I'm sure you could help him out.

I've read the threads on his class before, pretty cool stuff. I know Derek(bc) and I both run saltwater tanks in our classrooms as well. I believe Derek has upper elementary and I have 160+ 8th graders each year.

It is definitely not cheap....
