Just figured folks could use a thread that wasn't a for sale thread - lol for a change seems that is all that's going around these days. Don't get me wrong - I always look - but really enjoy seeing threads with cool pics or ideas or......builds

Is that a marineland 92gal cube? Thinking of getting one since I f up and can't get larger tank to fit in upstairs .

Hey thanks guys. I wish on the 92. It's actually 47 at 24x24x19. Sweet Lil thing has some cool features like with the dis-attachable front to over flow for cleaning.

The sump is actually a 40b shared on a system with a 48x24x17 lagoon and sits under the big tank. It's all electrical under the cube.
Nashorn thanks for the sweet piece of red planet - looks awesome. Grabbed your purple unknown also.

Nice little set-up, Drew. I like the dimensions. 24" deep is too much for a @24" cube. I am (VERY) slowly working on a 26"x26"x20" cube.

If I was, it wouldn't fit properly on the fine stand you made for it:lol2:

But we should get back to the topic of the thread, which is that Drew is on his way to have 4 or 5 tanks by the end of the year(once he adds 92g. :rollface

Haha - now that's real - actually the wall has 4 tanks at the moment. Any more than 2 is 2many for me.lol

Worked on this last night. Don't usually do paper stencils but worked well for application so far. Thinking it is gonna end up pretty cool. This is for the big tank.

I will be putting a speckled black painted Styrofoam under the tank to diffuse light from the bare bottom. Will be using hyper pink to paint this onto it. It will line the front of the bottom on viewing side.

Got some Styrofoam under siding set. Now to practice painting. 1st time we will see what I get I guess.
Neil your right - the add ons are more than the build. I keep running into areas that need sit down time observing and get bored so think hmmmmm What else could be a unique corner. The cube will be my baby....the big tank the fun. I need both and this is the best way I found. Wait until I finally get the structures put in. Have plans on running tank 1st and adding all new additions after they have had cycle time.

I vote clear, although in 6 months it will be covered by coraline algae.

Ya, figure so - hopefully acros or something cool.lol might have to scrape it. Clear is definitely cool.
