something living in the acans

Some of my acans aren't looking so good. I noticed this thing growing out of them.... Is it some sort of tube worm? The hair fibers retract when you poke it. How can I remove it? or should I?

Maybe a bath of corallrx ir similar?? Seems to be some kind of worm to me also..

Maybe a barnacle. Can you see what it is encased in/retracts into?

Im thinking Barnacle. Are they in more of a fan formation vs a feather duster formation? Also does it slightly rotate and grab like little fingers?

its jammed in between acans so I can't tell... will have to read up on barnacles and feathers to see if I can identify.

Read a barnacle post that says I can just glue the opening if its irritating surrounding coral.
