Something on Royal Gramma's gill cover

I picked up this royal gramma and I've had her in my QT for three days now. Something I just noticed today that I don't think was there yesterday is some sort of white thing around the edge of her right gill cover. It's translucent and at some point seems to be undulating when she moves. Here's a video, this is about as clearly as I can see it in real life too: https://youtu.be/snL52rque74

One other thing is that I can only see it when she's facing me head-on. If she's turned to the side (so that I'm looking right at the are where it is), I can hardly see anything.

She seems to have no symptoms of anything, and has been starting to accept the NLS pellets that I feed. I'm wondering if it's some sort of physical injury, but I really don't have a clue. Any help is much appreciated.

I forgot to mention that my LFS gets his stock from LiveAquaria after they've already done their own quarantine procedure, and then also treats everything with PraziPro for a week before selling them. I know that doesn't rule out the possibility of flukes altogether, and I thought it was flukes as well when I first saw it, but it seems unlikely given the Prazi. Anything else that shows up similarly that I should look out for?

I'll try tomorrow but I don't think a better picture is possible - I can't even see it better in real life with my own eyes

Live Aquaria doesn't quarantine. All of their stock comes directlyt from Quality Marine which is where it is shipped straight to the customer.

LFS buying from LiveAquaria and then doing 2 weeks treatment before selling them???? How much does he charge for his fish?

Same price! And not to mention that we're in Canada! He doesn't even charge for the conversion. And I've gone to all the fish stores in Toronto and his supply is by far the best in the city. You never see a single sick fish in any of his tanks.

Anyways, I thought I had read somewhere on LiveAquaria's website once that they did some sort of quarantine.

1fishjones, are you suggesting the fw dip to differentiate between flukes and something else? I don't know if I feel comfortable doing a dip without being sure that it's necessary (the whole idea kind of freaks me out) but I was coming to the same conclusion myself
