Most people leave it running. You can add a drop extra to make up for what the skimmer might take out.

Thanks. Do you use a separate pipette to dose the drops or are the drops that are coming out of the bottle top okay? I'm still on the first two week regiment (i.e., cap per 25 gallons with no Vodka) and I've already noted a lighter colour on the N03 chart, with P04 remaining thesame (albeit it was low to begin with).

The drops coming out of the bottle top is fine. The new bottles actually have a nice cap for drops. Either is fine though.

Thanks! Im pretty tight lipped on the new setup as I would like it to be a nice surprise. The new tank will be more than twice as large as my old rimless, while employing LED/T5 lighting. I am working on getting a large rimless to my specifications as we speak. Once I have the dimensions locked in I will start building the stand and preparing for the new tank. I am going to be doing some crazy things with this new tank. I'm looking at about 20 Anthias for the tank, which should look incredible. My objective to make the tank look as close to nature as possible, structurally. Man, I cant wait! :D

Thank you. :D I have never mixed the three products so I am unsure that would happen. I guess you could mix them, as I have known other reefers mixing bacteria's. Give it a shot and let us know how it worked out.

Yeah, the tank is gone. The fish and corals are still here though. Check back in a couple months for the new setup.

I would leave the skimmer on as Salty Geek mentioned. I always leave my skimmer on and have never suffered any ill effects.
 
Hey sonny, i set my tanks on autopilot over the summer. When i left the forums your tank was rocking, its good too see its only gotten better (with more magazine exposure i might add). Awesome to see a local guy kickin butt with the best in the world.

Same setup as this past spring? Any major changes?

I am now working on a new setup that should be up by December.
 
Sonny are you still doing frag packs? I am looking for like another 10 acros and my tank will be set to grow out, could you PM me with details as to not derail this thread? Thanks man!
