Your tank is awesome, that's a given, but your stand! That's a genius stand. I love the tile design, it, together with the tank's black seams...oh my.
I'll be watching along. Thanks.

Thank you. :D

The stand has some really nice tile, every piece is have a unique design and color. I still have to add molding to the bottom of the stand, but it will have to wait until the tank in finally in place.

Did you get everything in yet? Wanna see how this progresses.

Hello,

I will be heading to Toronto tommorw and picking up the tank on friday. The Return pump is on a fedex truck and should be here by friday.

Other than that, I have everything listed on the first page. The tank should be setup by monday. :D

Thanks again guys and gals!

Chris, its your fault this thread is here in the first place! :p
Your rimless tank gave me an itch I just had to scratch! :D

LOL!!! Thanks! Glad you ordered the tank. I think you should leave out the chromis. It would be awesome to see some red-spot cardinals and maybe some anthias.

Cardinals are cool. But, they aren't very active. I have 3 Apogons in my tank and they are cool little fish, but, do not swim around very much. Go with the Bartlett's, they are awesome, colorful and active!

The ones I am referring to are the Longspine.

Yea I had some cardinalfish in the past. They really didn't swim much like you said but they did look pretty cool just floating there.

awesome tank sonny the tile makes it look so nice!!! i loved your old setup I'm sure this one is going to be sweet as well congrats!!!

Thanks Rob! I absolutely loved you old 90gl from years back, it was quite an inspiration.

If you're going to go cardinals, I'd go with the Longspine, simply because they stay smaller, so you'll be able to have more of them and you can create more of a "school", just my opinion of course. Can't wait to see your tank on Monday... Are you going to use corals from your previous setup or start fresh?

Sonny, I was refering to the cardinals that are clear, very small, and have a single red spot on them. I don't know the scientific name of them though. Sorry.

Apogon parvulus they are very bad shippers but really nice

i saw them at the wholesalers in CA but we don't get them in the east coast because of that

See if you can get your hands on some of these. I wanted to find some of these when stocking my tank, but, the only place I could find them was a retailer in UK(they were willing to ship, though) If you could find these, you could definitely create a real nice school in a 100G tank.

^ those remind me of a neon tetra

Sonny, you didn't have to explain the "instant gratification" thing ....I realize you know what you are doing. The only reason I brought it up is because it is nice to have the knowledge/equipment/livestock to make a tank install move so quickly.

As far as fish....a have seen someone with banner butterfly fish with SPS corals. He only has to sm-med ones and they shoal very very well compared to other shoaling fish.
