Did you ever end up setting up another tank?

Yea man after 4 and a half years out of the hobbie i started my new system April last year still on the works but check it out, i have to update some pictures

Back to the Reef Express

WOW! Great build! I wish I would have seen it sooner, I may have gone a different route with the tile on my stand.

No man!!! it looks great the way you built it, i really mean it, i was planning on building a small cube with the style you have built your, really looks outstanding!!!

Ok, so I need some feedback and experience with this question here:

Amenome in an sps tank, good or bad?

Just looking for info from people who have kept them successfully in the past or present.

Unless you can do an island where it is separated, I'd skip it.

Yea, from what I hear they tend to move around stinging everything along the way.

pics! sounds like a fun project

Ill up load some more pics this weekend once I pick up the tank.

Looks awesome so far Sunny!

I too have been contemplating an anem in my new system, and I'm going to pass. I have set up "islands" in the past and had them stay there for some time, but everytime thay ended up moving.... I'd come home from work and one would be sitting on my SPS (of course generally my favorite colony).

My vote is no for the anenome. I had one in my 75G. It never moved for a whole year. The day I took one of my Tunzes out for a few hours to clean it; it didnt like the change of flow I gues and went on a move right on top of some of SPS. I really love anenomes, but, I feel it's one or the other....IMO

I have to agree with rutz81 on anemones. I had one in an sps tank too with disastrous results. Lets just say Vortec vs. anemone...Vortech wins!

I have a RBTA with my SPS. It also hasn't ever moved. I love the clownfish/anemone relationship. I know that I am rolling the dice but to me it is worth it.
