Finally found your build, Sonny... VERY Sexy tank!!! Glad the T5s are treating you so well (I'm about to go 6 bulb ATI on my 65g)

Do you have any before and after pics of the poop brown acro??

Keep up the great work and more photos for us to drool on, please!!

Thank you. :D

I will try to get some more pics for you guys soon. The ATI is very nice. I was going with the 8 Bulb ATI but the waiting list was WAY too long. I ended up getting the Aquatinic Constellation and am very happy with it.

Hey Sunny Just want to say very nice build. I am also looking to have a tank built around 90g to 100g . I was also wondering what your tank price was. If you could pm that would be great. Trying to put together a price list of everything I am going to need. I also will be using t-5 lighting that I already have from my old setup.

I will send you a PM on the tank info. This is my second tank from Miracles in Glass and it expertly made. The customer service is top notch, and they finished building my tanks twice before the deadline. They have a customer for life in me.

I received the coral on he left yesterday from a friend. It browned out quite bad in his tank. I don't know what it is. Purple Bonsai?

I actually purchased this coral a long time ago from Reefer Madness. I fragged it up before I sold of most of the stuff in the old tank. It grew from only a base to the size it is today in only a couple months. :D

Very nice! Do you still use the Procolor? Can you please post the bulbs and the order of the bulbs in the fixture? How high off the water's surface is the fixture (splash sheild)? Could you also give me a rundown of your photoperiod? I have this same fixture and was just wondering for comparison. I would really like to get the colors of my corals to be that vibrant. Thank you very much.

Here is the bulb arrangement:

Front:
Ati Blue+
Ati Pro Color
Ati Blue+
Ati Aquablue Special
Ati Blue+
Ati Aquablue Special
Ati Aquablue Special

The Pro Color really makes the red acans "pop".
I will be swapping out the the 7th bulb for a Blue+ soon. Or I may swap the 7th bulb with the first bulb.

The splash shield is on. You should never take the shield off because it protects the reflectors and is needed for proper cooling.

I am not at home to give you the exact timing on photo period but I believe I am running 8 hour periods for each set of bulbs.

Looking good Sonny! That acro is really nice. Looks like we'll have a trade going soon. :)

Thanks! :D

I'm really not a coral Aficionado like yourself but I do have a few nice corals. I have never really bother with coral names and hype. If the coral catches my eye it goes in the tank. :)

Hi Sonny,

do you happen to have any par readings of your tank? Your keeping many SPS near the sandbed. i run a 7 bulb IC retro with the same bulb combo and same tank dimentions but not sure if I could keep my SPS that low.

are you still dosing randys 2 part? Do you dose any other products?

Beautiful tank by the way. Pristine water!

Unfortunately I do not have PAR readings on my tank. I am still dosing Randy 2 part with good results. As for other additives I add Lugols solution once a week along with Reefboster once a month.

I just measured it and it is 3" off the water to the splash guard. I rechecked the photo period and I was mistaken, this is my actual photo period.

2x Ati Blue+ 12hrs
The other two circuits for 10hrs each.

Thanks. do you find Lugols solution and Reefboster help with colour?

Well I cant remember when I started using Lugols weekly, probably 5 years ago. Being so long ago I have nothing to compare it to. My corals have always had excellent growth along with great color so Lugols is not hurting anything.

When dosing the Reefboaster by Prodibio I do notice my corals looking more vibrant along with increased polyp extension. My Acan's especially have been growing like crazy. n
