I'm wondering if any owners of one of these cameras can get their camera to white balance under actinics only. If so, how? I've got a DSC H2 which takes great pictures, but not under actinics. The white balance is completely useless under actinics. I've tried setting the WB on a white kalkwasser lid inside the tank, and I've tried a sheet of paper. Neither does anything. The pics turn out mega blue and useless.
I've read suggestions from others on shooting in RAW mode and adjusting levels in Photoshop, however these cameras only shoot in JPEG mode.
I'm considering selling my camera and trying a similar type of camera in the $275-350 range. Does anyone have recommendations for a camera in that range that takes good pics under actinic only lighting?
Here's an example of what I'm dealing with:
Greens turn out ok as you can see on the trumpet coral and ricordea on the bottom right. But look at the anthias at top and the kenya tree down lower. Both are actually pink, but are almost invisible in this pic.
