soo tired!

Man, I'm totally whupped.
Although we got the 225 up and half filled yesterday, I didn't get the sump and pumps, skimmer. etc. etc. set up until a few hours ago. (Moving big stuff from the house with weekend help was a BIG priority. My wife and one kid got sick to boot!)
I have losses. It sucks. I should have taken my own advice: sell everything before you move. Start from scratch.
All my fishes are gone. I don't know if it was an ammonia spike or the big anemones stessing. It looks like some corals are doing poorly as well.
On the flip side- there are some positives. (Always focus on the positive!)
My reef aquarium is next to the PC. Very slick.
I have not one...but TWO of those big Chitons (Cryptoplax). They are alive and well as of Sunday night. These things are KEWL.
Thanks to everyone that helped me this weekend.
Without your help I could have never accomplished everything alone.

And Guy- those Poles make some great beer! Thanks.

Sorry to hear about your losses Gary. That's really a shame. Large tank moves are stressful for everyone involved. I also had a pretty unsuccessful tank move last month.
Good luck rebuilding. And let me know if you need anything.

If a coral you got from me perished, I'll gladly give you another.

Gary,

I am sorry to hear about your losses. What a bummer. I really hope the rest of your move goes smoothly. I know moving is a big pain in the a$$.

Although, having the computer next to the tank is pretty awesome!

Hope the wife and daughter are feeling better!

so with the PC next to the tank are you going to set it up with your tank? sorry bout the losses did you at least frag out some of the corals u lost before you moved? or did just the fish die? good luck with the new tank.......

Sorry to hear you lost your fish. That convict tang was awesome. Keep your spirits up , you will have a fantastic reef again soon.

Gary, sorry about your losses. I'm sure you'll have everything back to perfect conditions soon. I have that soft coral from you that is doing great if you want a frag back.

Gary
so sorry to hear that you lost alot. If there is anything you need I will try to help out. Also sorry I did not make it there got stuck working.Hope all is uphill from here. Also hope everyone feels better now.Good luck Scott

Thanks folks. Only time will tell what's not going to make it. It's not the first time I've moved an aquarium- but it's the first time I've moved am entire household and 225 gallon reef aquarium. The biggest problem was not having another aquarium set up and running beforehand. I stopped by RC because I'm beat- but I still need to set up the lighting for the reef aquarium. I hope to start working on that tomorrow.

How's the tank doing today? I am sure with your skill and knowledge along with experience you will bounce back better than ever before... Sorry to hear about your fish, its always sad when they go.. Even if there just a fish... :)
