Sorry John... But I am calling out COPPS!!!

Below are shots of my living room in the apartment... a 65 gallon, 20 gallon frag, and 54 corner on a separate system...

The 54...

And the 65...

My beloved regal angel... this beautiful shot graced the homepage of Reef Central the month this system was featured... all of the credit should go to Mother Nature... she made these fish... I just keep 'em... I've now had a trio together for almost four years in my large sps display... regals have been my favorite fish since I was little and they were unkeepable...

And some top shots moving from left to right in the tank...

Again more to come of my current systems... thanks for the interest guys! :)

John, you're a slacker, plain and simple. At least I dont lie about it- I'm lazy and cant stop watching hockey. wait....thats a lie. I stop watching hockey enough to watch the tank.

Usually I only describe women this way, but just these smaller displays are drop dead SEXY!!! Please when you do add more pics, show how you have displays stacked up against each other in the living room!!!! I then can show them to the wife and tell her all fish freaks do this!!!! :)
Hopefully one day we can meet and shoot the proverbial detritus over some drinks. Again as always fantastic work, and the picture of keeping marine animals thriving and not merely surviving. A mentality this hobby needs to start adopting more aggressively. There is no need with technology to have many of these animals for years.

One more thing for you John. A question? I am thinking of getting two juvi. Sumatra Regals. Any insight about keeping the juvi's? Are they sexually di-morphic at 1 1/2"?
Thanks, T

Your regals didn't mess with your SPS?

myerst2, where on earth did you find TWO regals that small?! I'm jealous!!!

Copps, we are all fortunate that you share your experiences with us. Thank you!

I know that the young ones can be a handful. My boss has one that is 8 months, and one that is just turning 2 next week. They wear him out like you wouldn't believe!

thanks for the start, Copps, and I look forward to more! I don't quite sympathize with the new kiddo scenario, but I'd be surprised if I'm not getting that experience by Monday (the wife was having many a contraction last night). Some beautiful tanks that you have!

John is a legend around these parts of the woods and I have been meaning to ask him if I can come by and look at his setup. What is holding me back is that once I see his tanks, I want to go home and throw everything away.

COPPS mentioned that one of his inspiration was an old reefer known as "reefman_va." I was fortunate enough to see that tank and it blew me away. I have not seen anything close to that "perfect" tank since but i have heard that COPPS tank(s) are better.

Looking forward to the pics.

Well I have the two small Regals on Hold. I asked them place them in a 20 gallon with a glass partition to try and get them to pair up hopefully. As far as where I find my fish? Just years and years of looking, looking, making contacts and hooking the contacts up with sales. Lastly with anything it's all about who you know. T

I remeber those pics from years ago. Nice flash back!! Thanks John. I'm waiting on pins & needles for the new ones also. Your an angel nut just like me.
