Hey guys/gals,

so i just crushed my brand new torch coral...im not even really sure how it happened...i got attacked by my two clownfish unexpectedly and it startled me and some live rocks fell.. anyway, is there anything i can do for this guy? I've read some success stories of this happening and them coming back, but idk what i should do for it. i have it in a low flow medium light area, and it still has its polyps its just basically shattered...ive attached a picture, any and all advice would be MUCH appreciated..

thanks in advance

It's hard to tell from he picture but when my emerald crab ripped apart my hammer coral I took it out f the tank once a day and left it in a cup with some tank water and Melafix so it wouldn't get infected for a few minutes and I ended up saving it so this would be my recomendation

Thanks! i appreciate it..i glued it back to the LR hoping to hold it together..so i don't think i would be able to remove it..it still has a little bit of polyp extension on one side, so I'm hoping that with microdosing my tank i should be able to help the little guy.. the skeleton is basically completely shattered though

I wouldn't add it to the whole tank if you don't want to treat it you might be fine, I mean when a coral gets fragged you don't have to treat it, if I were you though I would do the dip thing and than just have it sit in the sand bed until it heals up, I keep all my euphilias in the sand bed anyway so it should be one there
