Since I am picking up a number of frags for myself and holding some for others... I am already buying 3 fragaracks for myself.

Since some of you are coming to pick up frags from me anyways, I can have the guy ship me your frag racks.
(Kill two birds with one stone, so to speak)

I have used these frags for years. The long bar magnets are more stable than other racks.

Cost:

$30 for 1/2" glass (comes with 2 extra magnets)

$35 for 3/4" glass (comes with 3 extra magnets)

If we can get 5 or more racks, I can ask the guy for group discount.

We need to confirm by Tuesday night so we can make sure we can get it shipped to me in time.

(My order has already been placed, so we need people to buy 5 more racks)

YOU KNOW YOU CAN ALWAYS USE ANOTHER FRAG RACK.

Happy New Year's Eve!

I got an update from my friend (and pictures).

Frags have been cut and healing for a week or so.

He will pack them on Sunday for me to pickup around 1pm. We are driving back and should be back by 7pm or so.

Frags will be kept in insulated container and also car will be warm, so should not be too big a problem for temperature drop.

Just out of curiosity. Will the frags be labeled individually? I will be picking mine up later and with the number of frags I am taking in I am not going to be able to remember every single one since I am not an sps guy. lol
Ron can I bring in containers labeled with the names of the frags I am grabbing and we can just dump which frags corresponds to that container? Would help me a lot. What do you think?

My friend labels the frags very well. So not likely to be confused during transport and distribution.

For the frags I am holding for people, I will separate out the frags and then take picture with labels for you guys.

For those that picked up from me this evening, please share pics so others can admire your new acquisitions.

For those that that I am holding, I will dip and place in my tank. And then I will post pictures.

Please remember to always dip corals under any condition. My friend has assured me his tank is pest free, but just in case, always dip. For very sensitive corals, dip with Bayer Advanced is preferable.

FYI. My friend uses metal halides, so please adjust your corals accordingly. Don't let them get too much light shock after being in the dark for the car ride.

The 2 frags that Ron picked up for me are super healthy, chunky with PE within minutes in my tank.

Just managed to get a picture of the blue matrix, the strawberry fields is just as awesome.
