I got 5 bags today, do you guys think is enough for a 125? I looks that I'll need more :) I can't put it in the tank since is not ready yet

I take it you have a standard 125gal (72x18x22)... If so 5 bags (250lbs) will give you almost a 4" deep sand bed...

going to get mine this after noon. Lowe's in Titusville has some. i am thinking about getting little more than i need and sift out the bigger stuff. i am going to get a couple extra bags, dry it out and put it in a covered 5gal bucket and save it for later.

i went on the way home. they have plenty. his pictures are pretty accurate of the sizes. i am going to sift out the bigger stuff. for $3.18 a bag, it would be worth it. i got a couple bags of the step 2, but it isn't the right stuff!

outside in the garden center, near the paving bricks. there is a red bag - part 2 and a brown bag - part 1. although part 2 is much better looking, it didn't fizz in the vinegar test.

Yeah that stuff is nice.... I have the original southdown in my tank. with all the flow I have it get blown around pretty easy. Lasttime I cleaned my tank I added 2 bags of this stuff in my tank... looks really good and does not blow around. once I move my tank to the new house this is what is going in it for sure. very white and natural looking.
