Southdown Sand?

went to HD yesterday to get some sand as a base and asked employees wher is sand went to it and no southdown. asked again and no one ther has ever heard of it or do they stock it. have read multiple forums where numerous people rave how good and cheap it is from HD. has anyone else ran into this, or know of a HD that stocks it?

Last I read, only a few of the HDs on the east coast have Southdown. Some in the Chicago area USED to get it but I don't think it's available there any more.

yeah guess i will have to do some reasearch. dont have any extra sand do you. getting a 75rr wet today/tomorrow.

they got that there type of sand on the East Coast... want me to pick you up some next time i am up there?

someone on here did a test on playscapes sand and found that it was aragonite (vinagar test) but I can't find the thread.

you need more lets put a 14 inch sand bed in there
