Space fillers ?

Hey all

So my tank is mostly acros, some Chalices and eventually I'll fill in with more acans and other LPS.

My question is - what do most of you do to fill in ground space on the rocks in between the bases of your acros? Do you leave it bare so there's plenty of room to form a large anchor ? Do you infill with zoas? Things like fireworks polyps? Acans? I'm trying to figure out which way I want to go there.

What do you prefer and enjoy.

Pics ?

Thanks !!!

I’m an Acro lover. I leave open space so my Acros can encrust the rock and spread. I keep R. Florida (my favorite soft coral) and Zoas separate form the Acros…just personal preference.

Sorry, no pics right now because my tank is a mess with frag racks covering the front glass.

I’m in the keep it bare crowd. At the same time, I don’t stop anything from filling in (except GSP). I do try to keep fillers separate just because I don’t want to deal with the warfare and/or one overtaking the other

@Nanook has a lot of fill in his long (as opposed to his cube tank) tank that is natural growth. Maybe he could chime in and/or post pics.

If you keep a tank long enough, stuff will just grow in any empty spaces. (but sometimes on this forum, my pictures don't show up)
