I just bought my first clam last weekend. It is a beautiful derasa.
I bought a little mouse feeder dish and filled it with fresh crushed coral to set him in. The next morning I noticed the unmistakable orange stringy tentacle of a spaghetti worm coming out of the exhalent siphon. The worm looked like he was scraping some detritus off a nearby rock. The clam does not appear to be too bothered by the worm. Is this something to worry about?
