This tank went to hell quick....
Really considering tearing it down and start over..

Those don't look like any of the 3 spaghetti worms I have seen.

The ones in my tank were very short (1/2") and they bury themselves in the sand and lay tentacles that look like thread out in a circle on the sand. The circle made by the tentacles is only 1" to 2". And when I introduced a Wrasse, it ate every last one in just a couple of days (but I only had 10-12 and they didn't become an issue by over populating the tank).

The 2 bigger types I've seen while snorkeling and they are both much bigger and much, much bigger.

Yea your are correct that's a spaghetti worm, if I see them I put super glue in them. I'd also break down that tank and start again bleach the crap out of everything and start the cycle with something other than live rock.

That tank was setup with rock moved from another tank on 9/29, I wound up killing my Magnificent Foxface when I forgot to turn the pumps back on..
The algae is about half as bad now as those pictures (they are about a week or so old)..
It actually exploded to that level over two days.. (new setup??)
It isnt getting any worse,, that was actually meant to be a joke.. but it came off wrong...sorry, been rather bummed about killing my foxface..
I have a few emeralds and peppermint shrimp in there working on the algae and Aiptasia
So far it seems to be working, will be switching to red sea salt mix over the next few day to get my levels up where they need to be (using IO now and everything stays low)..
I also added a very small flame angel (almost 1") who is also picking away at the rocks..
The spaghetti worms dont bother me, there are only 6 or so of them, if need be I can suck them out when I do a water change..
They are actually interesting to watch how they feed.. ( I know, I am wierd)
I had moved some stuff around in the tank, so I probably disturbed the one that was on the glass..
