I cleaned the tank and did a 25% water change. I did have one lose still pre-meta, I think I see one more like that. Feed heavy on rotifers and that will be the last live food they have.

If they're thru meta, I would bump to B1, assuming you have it.

I had a moment of weakness and bought a naked clown and a Snowflake pair today. That puts me at 17 clownfish! What to pair a naked Ocy with ???

I guess we think alike I started B-1 yesterday and I'm well stocked on grow out food. I have another clutch that will hatch on tomorrow evening and I have another tank ready.

It’s amazing how much they grow ever day and it’s really hard to see in the video but they are going to be very nice looking Juvenals.

This is a little off track but I pick up this pair about 2 or so months ago. I was told by the store manager that they where wild caught. That’s always question able. Anyway they have paired up and it looks like the may spawn down the road soon. Just thought I try to raise some.

Well I made the transfer yesterday to the grow out tank and they seem to be doing great and always hungry. I put them in a 20 long so I should be good for a while.

I did had another hatch on Friday and all I can say about that is, what am I going to do with all these fish.

I’m not new to breeding fish because I raised fresh water Angelfish years ago by the hundreds & hundreds the procedure is somewhat similar only on the Angel’s you take the clutch from the parents as soon as they spawn and IMO much more difficult to raise than the clowns.

What is totally amazing with the clowns is the growth rate daily, it unbelievable! Day 15-16 blows my mind.

I just wanted to see if I could raise them but I'm going to have to figure out something. I have another hatch that will be going through meta this weekend.

Thanks all of you. I enjoy the reefing hobby and never really planned on doing any breed but when the opportunity presented itself I had to give it a shot. With that being said the pair will spawn again in a couple hours. The female's tube it down and they are frantically picking at their spawning slate. I'm going to raise those as well and then I'm going to let a few spawns go back into the reef.

Just so you know trying to raise this many is hard work when I already work 10 hours a day on my job, I'm needing a break. To bad some of you don't live closer I'd give you a clutch and let you work for a while. LOL

I start feeding BBS on day 6 the video does not show but you can see their belly get orange. I don't stop rots though for some that may not adapt to them.
