I dont mean to steal your thread and please think I am dont know about clams but do these really go for that much? I thought they were more like $50-80 at the LFS. Am I wrong? Not trying to say its not worth it. I am just asking about pricing on these.

not blue squamies, the only one ive seen was online and it was like 6-8", absolutely gorgeous coloring and it was like 600 i think, and you had to buy something else too. if you are a dealer though you can buy them pretty cheap, ive seen pricing for bulk orders :(

So the blue ones are rare. Got ya. That explains it. What are the more common colors? What are the rare ones?

Good buy gasman, i am looking for a rare young male crosshatch triggerfish. I hope i have the same luck.

Ninja squamis are also called scaled clams and they are very rare in such a pattern.
George is a knowledgeable reefer and has been around the block both in service as well in reefing I saw his tank when taken down and got some corals from him.
I wanted to buy this clam then but he never allowed me LOL

Clams direct has had some and they last mins after post.\

REMEMBER WE ARE ONLY SCRATCHING THE SURFACE!!!
