The reef super glue. It was just a bit harder than normal because I wasn't sure if these sponges should not be exposed to air like some of the more porous sponges. So I put the glue on rock then raised just the end of the sponge to the surface of the water to join the two. It looked like thats how the mother colony was attached as well.

Thank you Fullmonti, is really PIA to glue Trikentrion due to sponge and air.
I had one but they perish after few months (6 or 7 IIRC) .
I saw that Chingchai have very beautifully nps tank with few Trikentrion inside but besides one or two video there are not too many info about that tank and progress.

I'm hopeful mine will do well. I feed the sps tank some filter feeder food so think it should be happy.

From what I've gathered online only a couple people have had success with this sponge and they never did anything special for it, and it wasn't in a dedicated non-photo tank. It will be interesting to see if that is how it ironically works out for you.
