Spilled bleach should I be worried?

Someone spilled about 2 cup of bleach in my bedroom where my tank is located. of course immediately opened the window and ran a ceiling fan hoping it'd dissipate quickly. Should I worried about fumes getting into my tank? TIA

Hope you had tile and not carpet! You should be fine though!

Have laminate flooring. Was kinda worried since all the door and windows were shut tight thus no circulation in the room .

just make sure you dont add any ammonia to it

i wouldn't worry too much about fumes in a standard residential bedroom .. unless you moved into Harry Potter's old room under the stairs..

If they had poured 2 cups of bleach INTO the tank, well that's a whole 'nother story..

if you want to be super safe you can always dose your tank with a bit of prime or some other chlorine remover

If there would have been a spill in the tank you could have used thiosulfate to remove it.
