Sping Tank cleaning... loving my tank again

Is it just me or do other people go through cycles of not paying much attention to their tank, it get's a little dingy and then once in a while you do a water change, mess with some coral, rescape the rock, add some new equipment and it's like BAM! new fish tank again?

I did a little spring cleaning last night, added a refugium, ph monitor and some other stuff and now I've been staring at it ever since. I'm excited to go find some cool stuff to put in it today!

Oh... I need to update that... I have a 40cube and I now have the filtration I want. A CPR hang on fuge with a coralife aqualight mini t5, an eheim canister/ carbon reactor and a aqua-c remora pro skimmer.

Lost and found coral!!!

So very excited bc I thought this acan was dead. They were remnants of a peice I fragged off and these two polyp s were growing vurturally under a mushroom. So I took a flat head screw driver and a crow bar to the rock and now I have a new acan frag to grow out. :bigeyes:

Also, I thought this had been wiped out because that part of the rock was shaded by another coral. Still has some growing and coloring up to do but this is a great orange zoa that flouresces very nice under actinics.

Fish and other Coral

Camera Hog tang. This fun little devil is the cause of my recent semi tank crash. The bugger was a reject from and maintenance tank so I took him in and he bullied my hippo to the point of causing it to get bad ich and before I could get ahold of it all the other fish but the yellow got ich and died. (short version) :headwalls: :hmm2:

Nice female perc looking for a mate if anyone come across a high black male let me know. She enjoys long swims across the glass, wiggling in purple hammer corals. looking for a man she can dominate and chase back into the anemone if he gets out of line and somebody that will stay two times smaller than she. Any takers?

This little candy cane button was a rescue too from the under side of a leather coral that was about to envelope the whole colony.
