It's Dr. Goodluck Himself
Roger:
For years now I've fiddled with the standpipes in my overflow boxes presuming they are the source of the noise in my tank-with-wavebox. Took me that long to figure out it is the wavebox itself.
On each pulse, when the water level lowers on the side of the wavebox (and thus filling the wavebox) there is a splashing noise that is audible more than I would like in my living room. I am assuming the splashing noise is the box itself filling up.
I may still be wrong but I think this is it. It is certainly happening on each pulse when the water level lowers on the side of the tank where the wavebox is mounted.
Is there a cure?
Thanks,
Joel
