I was at the Critter today when they were dropping the fish into the tanks. I saw the leopard wrasse (Macropharyngodon bipartitus) drop out and was immediately buried in the sand. I had to have him
. I didn't get a good enough look at it to see if it has the lateral lines that may determine sex (females lack the lines, as I understand it). It went directly back under the sand after I got to see it for a few seconds. They are holding it for me, but I can't wait to pick it up. I'm pretty sure I don't have to worry about this one eating my corals
. Been wanting a wrasse (aside from the cleaner) for a while, and this one was screaming my name. They also had a yellow tailed Tamarin/wrasse that was beautiful, too.
