Splicing jebao type wire/connectors

Does anyone know what to expect if trying ttop splice wire similar jebao and other DC style pumps and equipment? I have a three piece l e d kit That has 3 modules and they are connected with the wire that has those screw together waterproof connectors. I need to extend those wires another 6 to 8". Is it possible to splice into that wire to extend it? Or is there some type of special wire in there that will not be able to be properly spliced into?

Its just normal wire..
Nothing special is required to splice it..

Ok, thx. Because they sell pre made extension cables but they are $20 a piece for 12" and takes like 2 weeks shipping. I just wanted to make sure they are not some special coated or insulated wires because they are for LEDs and dim, ramp, etc.
