Split baby RBTA

My RBTA just split this morning.

I suppose it's not a 'baby' but it was only the size of a 50 cent piece a month ago when I bought it. Yesterday it was about 4.5 inches long, probably 2 inches bigger than when I got it last month.

Do they usually split when they are so little? Do they split when they are stressed or happy or both?

20 gallon, 6 t5s (3 blue, 1 white, 1 pink, 1 purple). Hosting a tomato clown. Gets fed frozen foods like mysis, brine, krill ect 1-2 times a week. Frequent water changes, nitrate always below 5.

I am kinda shocked it split so fast and while it was still under 5 inches. Is that normal?

It really depends on each nem. I've heard the ones comming from shallower waters liv in colinies don't get as big but split more often than the ones comming from deeper water.

My phone which is my camera is broken but after looking through maybe 200 pics I found one that looks the most like it's current color and has the same bulbous tentacles. The babies look like this, just the size of a little over a quarter (coin). Pretty small. They are open though.
