splitting rbta

I just noticed my anenome had turned really dark and the tentacles wern't moving with the current .In about 5minutes it completley separeted it had split twice before but i never witnessed it . Both pieces appear weak Is this normal?

Whenever my rbta splits it seems to shrivel up at first, split, and then as I feed it, it will rapidly grow back in size.

I wouldn't sweat it too much, just make sure it continues to take food.

Will this keep happening and the tank be overrun anenomes? I had a problem with mushrooms a year or 2 ago .I guess anenomes can be sold

Wait until it moves to a smooth surface. You don't want to tear the pedal disc, so removing them when they're attached to rock can be tricky.
