splitting

Is there a way to determine when an anemone is going to split? Is there a certain size they reach when they start to split? I have a GBTA that is around 6-8 inches across that i was wondering if it is time to split soon.

there is no set time. mostbof the GBTAs that i have had will find a spot in the tank they like and will not move nor split.dont give up up just yet.i had the same problem with my GBTA.and then the next thing i knew as i was moveing him i found a bud on the under side of the oral disk.then 2 months ago he split.

I had an rbta that grew to about 15" before it split. you never know. They can grow to be quite big.
