I have a fairly large green sinularia. I was checking it today because it wasn't expanding as usual. At the base of the leather was a sponge growing. It seems the sponge is somehow causing the leather to detoriate around it. My guess is I'll end up cutting the leather off the rock and probably making a bunch of frags. Anyone else experience this? Here is a pic. A spaghetti worm has also made itself a home inside the area that's detoriating.
