Sponge ID

I noticed this odd sponge today that appears to have tentacles.

Does anybody have any clues?

not a sponge.

My gorg can look like that if a small piece is on rock.

I don't (think) I have any gorg in my tank. Might it be the beginnings of anthillia? Seems the color is off. Or are you suggeting it came in on a rock in an infantile stage?

at this point I'm suggesting anything is possible but it's not a sponge- the polyps look like those on my gorg.

if you got that rock locally a small frag of the gorg could have been on that rock

Yep, definitely an octocoral of some kind...
