Sponges from the group buy?

Hey guys how are you sponges doing ?
I have other blue sponges everything is growing fine.
The red tree is however having issue of turning white. The sea rods are doing good.

How is everyone's else's sponge doing or other livestock from the group buy ?

I actually fragged my gorg already, it was bigger than I wanted. Doing well and super fuzzy.

two gorgs (knobby and corky) are great and i have fragged both of them, the purple gorg looked really bad for a while, polyps have finally come out the last week or so, might be making a comeback.
at least two of the three sexy shrimp i got are still alive. pretty happy with that...

didn't get any sponges, some of them can be difficult.

All are doing fine, still have to deal with the company on the pieces that I didn't get, The red sponge turned dark for a week and then came back, all others are fine and growing.

I did receive a beautiful red tree sponge and unfortunately I had to pull it out. Started turning white at the base and started working up the stalk. Red eventually turned to orange and started looking bad so I removed it.
I don't think it was the quality of the product more than it was about my ignorance about sponges prior to purchasing it. The sponges water preferences are wholly different than what I have in my tank.
My research indicates that this particular tree sponge prefers low flow and low light.......quite opposite of my reef tank.
On the other hand I also received a purple gorgonian and it took to the tank immediately and extended its polyps right away. It is still doing well and is actually growing additional branches.
The learning curve for reef aquariums, I am finding, is quite painful but very indelible.

We have it in high flow, lower light than some of the tank but not in the dark either, only one small area turned white than it regained all its color. Yes sponges are hard beasts, they love dirty (full of wastes) tanks, but good parameters. Tough balance act. We feed them 3 times a day, so they are all doing well.

I guess I'm losing my sponge kinda suxs one of my favorite ones along with the blue one.
Should I remove it or maybe hopes it make a turn for the better ?
