Spots on Frogspawn

Can anyone identify if these are hitchhikers on my frogspaw ? They look like black spots. This was dipped when I purchased it with CoralRx. It opened up beautifully for weeks now for the past 2 weeks it has not opened fully. Just a few days ago I dipped it a second time and these spots are still there and do not come off easily

Are you referring to those spots on the skeleton? If so there's nothing to worry about IMO. Your probably stressing the coral out by trying to remove the spots as opposed to just leaving it alone. Do you have any other corals in the tank? How do they look?

I do have other corals and none are effected at all.

Hard to see a better pic would help, have you checked flat worm? They do resemble a bit to it a better close up would help

Are they flat or do they protrude from the skeleton a little? If it's the latter then they might just be harmless Foraminiferans. These are quite common on a lot of different coral skeletons.

Color almost looks like they could be the start of chicken liver sponges.

If they are flatworms does that mean CoralRx is not good for that since it didnt work? I do have Bayer, just never used it before.

If they're flatworms, they move.

Looks like flatworms to me. Watch for movement you will know for sure. I had them got a melarunus wrasse and havent seen one since

I don't think they are flatworms..
I've seen similar spots on a frogspawn skeleton and they stayed like that for the life of the coral and didn't seem to cause any problems at all..
I wouldn't be concerned..And I certainly wouldn't do anything to that coral at this point to avoid stressing it..

They can be finicky.. Leave it be and give it time to adjust/relax..
