I am building my new 8' x 3' x 2'h plywood/glass tank and I am looking to get a pair of spotted coral cat sharks. This tank will be there home for the first 2 years than they will be moved to a bigger tank. I have a couple questions:

1) What is there price and availability?

2) Would it be safe to house them with two B&W ocellaris clownfish, or would they be lunchfood for the shark?

Thanks for the help

1. If you look around, they differ according to size, coral cats are nearly the exact same price as bamboos however. (roughly 125 for a small to mid size one (8 to 16 inches).
2. IMO, no, but I housed a 1 inch maroon clown w/ a bamboo from when it was 10 inches to 18 inches without any problems. But I would think that would be abnormal, There is a way to adapt smaller sharks to fish, but I dont feel like finding my old post right now where i spent half a page explaining it. But honestly, If this is your first time handling sharks, I wouldnt recommend it, Try larger fish.
