My spotted mandarins spawned the night before last now the male is in a cave at the bottom of the tank and hasn't moved from the area in two days. Do mandarins guard their eggs or is there something wrong? I thought they just spawned into the water column.
The male is usually very active and comes up to me when I am looking in the tank and shows.
