If so they are sapposed to be easy my freind has one and you just have to have a deep sand bed 4-6inch or more. And just be careful they have a tendency to swim out of the aquarium. I'm not for sure what they eat but try this website out.http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+288+289&pcatid=289

He's not talking about the Bluespotted Stingray.

I'm not calling you out, SWaquarist, but don't give someone advice if you aren't completely sure what you're talking about. The Bluespotted Stingray (Taeniura lymma) is one of the hardest rays to keep in an aquarium. Most survive only a few months.

If you want a ray, look into the Cortez Rays, or other species of Round Rays. Most of these species require a tank of at least 300g, 96" x 30" x 24". All rays require a very soft, sandy substrate of about 3-4", at least, depending on size.

SAY NO TO BLUE SPOTS!! Yes they are sweet looking but they dont make long. I know an experianced salt water nut he killed 4 like a dumb a**. Like in every hobby some people have more money than common sence !!! Needless to say hey is no longer a friend!! Please do your research.

The stingray on the link is a yellow stingray which is a relative of the cortez ray, it has very similar requirments to the cortez ray and is one of the easier rays to keep.
