Spotted Sweetlips

My friend just gave me a spotted sweetlips because he had a tank crash and now i dont know what to do. every one said that they re hard to keep and always die mysteriously, HELP!!!

Exactly. Not easy to feed either.

If they are eating they are hardy and long lived, but they do get huge.

Update : he was attacked by my dragon wrasse, move to a qt tank , sooo horrible :sad2:

Also he will eat live ghost shrimp enriched by some kind of flakes, and shrimp egg ( ebiko ? )

he is getting good ... and bad . His pelvic fin is completely healed, but he is developing some kind of pale blotches on his body. Anything to help ???

Could be a secondary infection from stress/wound

problem solved. Shock from the light, turned it on suddenly. everything is getting good, all of the wounds had healed completely except the dorsal fin. eating good. I hope he will thrive

Suddenly died today , maybe he was caught by cyanide, rapid breathing , fins got some hole like you take a needle and poke on it, still eating ?! fin dissolved in water ( really, it looks like you put flour in to the water) died a few minutes later
