Spotted tomatos

Some of my tomatos show unusual marks. Many are produced by misbarring of the 2nd bar and vanish with growth, when this bar dissapears. These spots are something different though and won´t fade out.
Could that be a genetic mutation?.I was considering pairing up these two fish and find out.

Cool looking! I have a couple of ocellaris that have that type of misbar, and some folks like them better than the regular perfect kind.

If you did breed them you could find out if this one is genetic or not!

Luis, how old are those fish? I was just cleaning/ feeding after seeing this post so I checked my fish, of 50-60 3-1/2 month olds about 25% still have those same markings, mostly with the black outline. Curiously many of them have it only on one side. Some have 2-3 spots but most just have one. I always asumed they will go away in time. I sell off these guys all the time, I will pick a couple of the nicer ones and hold them to see if they last. Thanks for the heads up :)

"Picasso" tomato's ?? Wouldn't that be nice :D

B and W too.

B and W too.

Luis I have a B and W with a similar "defect".
Doesnt seem to be detrimental or contageous at all?
Maybe breeding them would be interesting?.... Could we see the beginning of a breeders "tag"?

Hi guys,
Keen observers!;) This is a photo-tank and that was synthetic foam pretending to be taken as a natural substrate
The fish are about 6 mo.and the marks are permanent.Even so,I guess they´related to misbarring and don´t expect them to be inherited.
I will try breeding them, though.Nothing to lose.;)
