Springer's Damsel and Ocellaris Clownfish

I have a 34 gallon RSM 130d. I have 2 Ocellaris Clownfish and 2 Yellowhead Jawfish. I would like to add some blue to my tank. Would a Springers Damsel co-exist with these tank mates? I have also thought about adding a Royal Gramma at some point, should I do that before the Springers Damsel or does it matter? I am also open to any blue fish suggestions for this tank.

I have about 10 of the Springeris. I have been keeping them for many years now. They are hardy fish and I haven't seen any aggressive issues. I have lots of damsels, and lots of tiny shy fish and the Springeri just leave everybody alone and do their own thing.

They are not outright the brightest blue, but when you study them when the light is hitting them they are pretty spectacular little fish.

They are my favorite damsel, never had any aggression. I say go for it.

That's too many fish for a 34 gallon. The 2 clowns and 1 jawfish, or the clowns, royal gramma, and damsel could live together, but not all 6. Jawfish should be in 30 gallon tanks.

Springeri damsels are the most peaceful damsel I have seen, it should be fine with your current inhabitants.

If you decide on the royal gramma as well I recomend adding them at the same time , as they both want the same type of territory.

I personally don't feel that your list has too many fish, but ultimately your water quality and behavior of fish will tell you if you are too crowded.

While jawfish are recommended in 30g tanks, my experience is that Opistignathus aurifrons can have multiples in your size tank, as they are far more social with conspecifics than many of the other species of jawfish. In fact they regularly spawn in significantly smaller aquaria.
