SPS acclimation

Obviously this depends a bit on what the original parameters of the pieces were, but I am curious as to how most people acclimate their pieces. For example, put them on an eggcrate frag rack low in the tank for X number of days, then move the rack up for X days, then glue into location, etc. Thanks for the input.

I float my corals in the bags for about 10-20 minutes, dip them, then acclimate them to my water for about 20 minutes. Slowly adding more tank water every few minutes (I used to drip but lost my drip line). Then they will go in the tank on a frag rack (sps only) for a day to a week depending on how they look. Then after I feel they are ready for placement I find a good spot and glue it in place. Its all trial and error, each coral is different, lps and softies get placed right away and sps get a little more care. My $0.02.

If i know i need to acclimate from different lights or unknown lights in the previous tank i place it on the bottom glued to a small rock and slowly move it up each week.
