sps and refugiums

Ok
Need help what is the correct way to set up a refugium for an sps tank? I have an area in my sump that already has a remote Dsb in it that I would like to use.

not sure if answered your question but I'm using chateo in separate tank(rubbermaid sump) and skimmer only never used gfo,carbon,pellets with po4 close to 0.00 and nitrate 0.5
about 25 fish in 250 gal total water volume feeding twice daily
btw only part of the water going thru fuge and is return to sump

its 2 systems hooked up together with 1 skimmer and small chateo fuge
