sps and t5?

Any T5 owners have succes keeping Maxima clams under those lights?

I haven't seen anyone with a Maxima clam with T5's. Someone must have, I might have missed it.

Since we're on the notient of "Anything can be kept under T5 lighting."

Yes, have kept Crocea's, Derasa, Squamosa and Maxima clams. most of them sitting 25" down in the tank. Great color and great growth.

Many maxima's in my care under T5's...all on the bottom of the tank.
I think the images speak for themselves.

I have four maximas 32" below the light in a tank that is 25" tall. All clams are growing like weeds.

This picture is about six months old. Since then they have almost doubled in size.

^^Very nice! Your photos would come out so much better though if you cleaned the glass first. I'm sure you already know this and if you're like me it's a major PITA!

If you want to come scrape the acrylic near the sand, without scratches, then be my guest! Its my last acrylic tank - never again - I spent hours trying to get it just that clean. I dont have the patience to deal with acrylic again!

However, I totally agree with you - clean glass = nice pics!

Best,
-Kyle
