The built in reflectors don't reflect all of the light so I would still use a reflector. Even if they did it would light from the surface of the water from unnecessarily lighting your ceiling.

Yeah, I've been eyeballing the tunze nanostreams as well. Looks so price attractive at 1st, until you get to the 6055. At $200/bucks a pop for 1450gph, seio still wins the 'value' award. But it does have a really cool design and the name speaks for itself I suppose.
