I stopped by on my way home today and Tony was unpacking a large shipment of aquacultured sps. He had some amazing acros and rare monti's I was drooling over, but unfortunately they aren't selling them until their sale on Saturday. I don't think I can make it so I thought I would pass on the news.

i will be there when they open......i asked him to hold one for me he said nope...its for the sale on the weekend...i can't wait....

.....and why woundnt the LFS want to make a sale when its in front of thier faces! Sometimes i dont get it!

have fun at the IMAC....i'll be 60ft under in the Keys this weekend! :)

Racenrich, I have to confess I would rather be where you are going then buying SPS corals here in Chicago. Never the less, having seen what Tony put out, I will be there buying some of those beautiful corals. Then, I will try and hit IMAC.

229 west Dundee rd, Buffalo Grove, #847-919-3474. And they sell some good food there too, Red Reef Food in the freezer.

Yeah, ROD'S REEF FOOD is the very best....I drive out to Rod's for his food and I know he uses only the best ingredients and he also has a secret way of making it. My fish AND corals LOVE IT! :)

I was there today. Steve wouldn't sell the caral I was looking at (he must have more money than me). I was rather to see a purple tang, even if it was only 2" long, in a 6" X 6" cube.

Maybe it is just me, but the atmosphere in there just didn't seem as friendly as I remember in the old store.

Could you tell me a bit more about Rod's Reef Food? I am looking for food my anthias like and my fairy wrasses like. Is this a candidate? Where is Rod's? Thanks in advance.

Thanks ever so much. I will drive out there and pick up some. By the way, when I was at Sea Schor, they said they would extend the sale through Sunday. So if you missed it today, there is another chance.
