i don't think its a problem but if anyone has heard of this or something like it please give your $.02

I have 2 reek tanks a 125 and a 90 and i am seeing two different colors type off the same coral from tank to tank

i use the same chems water and salt for each tank

each tank has been set up for the same amount of time due to a change of address

the only difference is the 125 has 3 150 w hqi and the 90 has 2 250 se mh

both tanks are on timmers for the same amount of time and same temp range due to chillers and heaters on both tanks

ideas welcome

other than the lights types yes

i have seen corals change color when moved from person to person it was just wierd to me to have the same coral show two different colors in a set of tanks that are cared for by the same person with all the same chemicals.

I did a frag of my blue mille ....in the same tank, side by side with the mother piece ,the frag became green

this is mother nature

thaks all for the input this was something that just hit me as wierd and wanted to know if anyone else had seen it or know what that cause would be

When SPS shift to green, or a greenish hue, it can often times be due to excessive PO4 uptake.
Either through the water column or directly through the rockwork.
